Age Limit & Relaxation
• The maximum Age is 38 years as on 01.01.2014.
• The Upper Age Limit is relaxable by 05 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 03 years for OBC category candidates.

Educational Qualification
• For Operative–cum–Sr. Technician:
Diploma in Engineering in Metallurgy/Mechanical/Electrical & Instrumentation from any recognized University.
• For Operator–cum–Technician:
ITI in Filter/Electrician/Diesel Mechanic Trades from an institute/Technical Board recognized by State/Central Government.
Experience Required
must have minimum 06 years of relevant experience in operation, maintenance areas preferably in SMS Units.
Remuneration/Pay Scale
• For Operative–cum–Sr.Technician:
In the Pay Scale (S3) of Rs. 9,160–3%-Rs.13,150/-.
• For Operator–cum–Technician:
In the Pay Scale (S1) of Rs.8,630–3%-Rs.12,080/-.
